  • Let's start with a question that's on your mind. What led you to discover my site?

While friends and family are invaluable, there are times when we crave a non-biased and neutral perspective. This is where my unique service comes into play, offering you a fresh and unbiased sounding board.

My service is neutral and strictly confidential, with a few exceptions. You can trust that our conversations will remain between us. I'm also not afraid to be direct and challenge you on things that others may shy away from.

I understand if that's a reason for you not to use my services, and I wouldn't hold it against you if you decide it's a dealbreaker. I'm here to support you in being the best you can be and ultimately to work myself out of a job – in other words, you won't need me anymore.

  • I choose not to post testimonials for ethical and personal reasons. According to the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics (C.3.b )it is unethical to solicit from current and former clients, particularly if there is cause to believe undue influence. Aka, it can be a power dynamic where the client feels obligated to be positive.

The testimonials, I have received over the years, where given to me directly and in gratitude for the work we did together. Using them to market myself just feels Icky.

If I receive a special request to post a testimonial on this website, I will honor that request.

  • I do not write letters for Emotional Support Animals (ESA) because I am not qualified to judge an animal’s intent or behavior.
